Hi, I’m Darbi Keene.

she/her

You should feel comfortable being yourself in therapy and I truly believe that begins with knowing your therapist is showing up as their true self! I’m a neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ therapist whose passion is partnering with you to learn to identify and utilize the strengths you already posses, while learning new skills to help you engage with life in a more empowered, fulfilling way that feels authentic and genuine to YOU. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can feel secure and comfortable enough to unlock your own potential for growth and healing.

I have worked with clients of all ages but am most experienced working with teenagers and young adults. I warmly welcome and celebrate folks of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.

I work from a relational, systemic, trauma-informed perspective. It’s important to me that I bring my warmth, humor, and unconditional acceptance to every session, because therapy shouldn’t feel stiff or cause you to feel like you’re “just another person on their caseload”. I prioritize personalized care by intentionally limiting the number of clients I work with to ensures that you are able to get my full dedication, focus, and attention during your session.

I might be a good fit for you if:

🌿 You are seeking EMDR therapy to process past traumas that are impacting your present-day life in ways you are ready to resolve!

🌿 You are Neurodivergent, struggle with executive functioning, and are ready to work WITH your brain rather than against it!

🌿 You are new to therapy and need someone to walk alongside you through the process with care and compassion!

🌿 You are seeking engaging and innovative therapy for your adolescent or teenager that values and embraces their individuality and insight!

🌿 You identify as LGBTQ+ and are seeking welcoming, affirming and supportive therapy to develop a greater sense self- compassion that aligns with your needs!
